Firstly let me thank you for taking the time to read our terms and conditions. These conditions are aimed at protecting our customers and enable a happy shopping experience

Privacy Policy

Here at here HTM Tiaras your privacy is paramount.
As such we do NOT give any of your details out to any third party. 
We are required by the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998 to follow strict procedures to protect customer information. 
We do not share information that you provide with any other company. 
You can rest assured that none of your details will be passed to bridal lists 
and that all personal information sensitive or otherwise given to us through this website will only be 
held and used with care and in accordance with this policy and the Data Protection Act 1998. 

Our correspondence is on a personal level and is on a one to one basis.

Payment

HTM Tiaras accept payments made by: International online payments through a secure server, UK cheques, postal orders or bank transfers. Payment must be received before goods are dispatched. Up to 4 days clearance must be allowed for cheques, although this is at the discretion of HTM Tiaras, and can be waived in certain circumstances, for example you need your item urgently. Goods remain the property of HTM Tiaras until payment has been made in full

Dispatch

We endeavor to dispatch products that are in stock the next working day, items that are made to order or have to be ordered in usually take around 2 weeks although this can increase in high season. If you are at all in doubt about dispatch times please email us directly at grant@uktiaras.co.uk for an approximate dispatch time for your chosen item. Please note dispatch times are not the same as delivery times. All Items dispatched are more than adequately insured for loss or damage in transit as we send all items (within the UK) out by Special or Recorded Delivery. So if an item is damaged on arrival or gets lost in the post (15 working days), you can relax, we will track and trace a missing item and offer if possible, an immediate dispatch of a replacement item or a full refund. Any damaged item will be refunded after the Royal Mail has concluded their investigation into said damaged item. Please note that the post office look in to all damaged and missing goods, so any item deliberately damaged and returned will be deemed as fraud and will be treated as such.

If your tiara does arrive damaged please email us immediately so we can start the refund or exchange process and please hold on to all packaging etc as the Royal Mail may request it from you

HTM Tiaras can not be held responsible for failure of a recipient to sign for a package, or for the package not being picked up from the local sorting office if an attempted delivery was made to the correct address and there was nobody there to sign for it

Returns

We are compliant with the consumer protection (distance selling) Act 2000, which provides a 7 working day no quibble guarantee on stock items, this does not apply to items personalised to consumers specifications i.e. height, colour etc. (pursuant to regulation 13(c) of the consumer protection (distance selling) regulations 2000. )

If in the unlikely event you wish to return or exchange a stock* item within the said 7 day period we must be contacted via either email or letter within 2 working days of your receipt of said item declaring your intention to return, you will then be given a return number, this must be displayed on the outside of the packaging . All we ask is that you return the item (along with the correct receipt or proof of purchase) unused and unaltered and in its original (or secure alternative) packaging within the said 7 days by a fully insured and trackable method and with the return number clearly visible on the outside of the packaging.

You will not receive your postage costs of return unless there is a manufacturing fault. Please be aware that items made to order to your specific requirements ie, bespoke commissions are exempt from the 7 day cooling off period. Also exempt are, pierced earrings and tiaras with combs that have had their hygiene guards/bags removed or the seal of said hygiene guards whether it be a bag or plastic guard tampered with or broken. This is for health and hygiene reasons and is to protect our customers. This means that you can buy from us with confidence

Returned goods must arrive at HTM Tiaras within 7 working days of your receipt of said goods. HTM Tiaras will not be held responsible for damage or loss of goods through your use of the postal system, therefore if your item arrives damaged at our premises we will not refund and it is up to you to claim from your courier. We therefore urge proper postal insurance of said item in most cases this is only by Special Delivery please check at the time of dispatch with your chosen courier service.
Any items returned without prior arrangement via email or letter and/or not displaying the returns number will not be accepted. If we receive a tiara that has been damaged in the post then it is up to the sender to claim from the Royal Mail not the recipient.

Refunds cannot be given after 30 days from date of purchase for any reason.

Intended Use

Risk in goods shall pass to the customer on delivery and the company shall not in any way be liable for any injury deleterious effects or consequential loss resulting from the application of any inappropriate use, inadequate care, neglect, process treatment or storage of goods after delivery.

As with all tiara and jewellery manufacturers, HTM Tiaras can not be held responsible for silver (whether sterling or plated) tarnishing , and plated items can and do wear exposeing the base metal.

HTM Tiaras cannot be held responsible for any alergy, metal or otherwise ariseing from wearing our products.

Tiaras by their very nature are made of metal, small objects or sharp parts as such these items are not suitable for unsupervised children, our items are not toys.
They are made as adult hair accessories and are to be used in accordance with this purpose. HTM Tiaras accepts no responsibility for injury caused by the destruction, misuse, negligence or negligent supervision of any of our items.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Your statutory rights are not affected

*Stock Item is defined in this document as an item that has not been personalised or altered or made to a customers specifications.
